Locking Wheel Nut Removal is a term used to describe removing a vehicles locking wheel nuts that cannot be removed using the vehicle specific key, because it is either lost or damaged.
If you can’t find your key, or if your locking wheel nuts are damaged and the key can’t remove them, then fear not! We have specialist equipment that can remove the nut without damaging alloy wheels.
There any many suggested methods for attempting to remove your locking wheel nuts. Many of these methods sadly fail and cause further damage to the wheel with the offending bolt still remaining intact. Welding, Chiselling and Drilling methods are usually a waste of time and effort and rarely end in success. We only use specialist tools designed for the job, so that no damage is caused to the wheel during the removal process.

If we have to use the specialist tool to remove damaged or overtightened nuts, we might not be able to put them back on, so we advise that you purchase new wheel nuts prior to our arrival so that we can fit the new ones for you when the tyres have been replaced.

We will always attempt to remove every locking wheel nut, but if they are too tight for our specialist tool, had a previously failed attempt, or if they have become corroded, you may have to take your vehicle to an engineering workshop to have the locking nuts drilled out. In such cases you may be charged a standard call out fee to cover our basic costs. Of course, in the unlikely event that our tooling doesn’t fit your vehicle their will be no charge
